Shinken, translated as true sword, means to do something with the utmost earnestness in Japanese common parlance. It is an apposite title because in here, I will detail my path of self-refinement, which I take very seriously, and I hope you are earnest with your endeavors as well and willing to learn from the daily adversities my path entails.
